Privacy for office or home windows
the great benefit of the frosted window vinyls we offer at printdsign is that they can offer privacy to glass panel areas (be they windows or office partitions) whilst still allowing a large percentage of light transference through the glass. so unlike a window tint the window frosting vinyls give privacy to the glass windows without knocking out a large amount of light.

Reflective finish
another great benefit is that window tint films work using light transmittance. many of the window tint films we offer at printdsign have a reflective finish when viewed external , for privacy. unfortunately due to the way the window tint films work this means that the reflective privacy finish of the window tint film will only work if the light source outside of the window is stronger than the light source behind the glass.

The difference between window tints and window frosting
during regular daylight hours, the brightness of the outside world is usually overall brighter than the internal lighting inside a home or office. so the window tint films works well and offer a reflective privacy effect when viewed from outside. but after daylight hours when the sun has gone down, the external light source is usually less than the internal light source inside a home or office. at this time the reflective privacy effect of the window tints no longer works as the light transmittance is working the opposite way to what was required during the day.

Do you need window frosting or window tints?
this is where window frosting and window etching vinyls come in. by using a window frosting instead of a window tint you can ensure that privacy is given to the windows or partitions at all times, no matter if the light sources are brighter behind the glass. the trade off for this aded privacy is that the windows are now opaque and cannot be clearly seen through , but this the only way to guarantee privacy for your windows at all times.

What are the benefits of Window Frosting?
At PrintDsign we have been selling and installing frosted window film (etching) for several years. in all that time is hasn’t changed much, but thats because it does really need to. we only use frosted window films from the worlds top manufacturers , so the quality is guaranteed and each install we carry out looks great and has excellent longevity thanks to the extra strong adhesives in the frosted window film.
There are several reasons why you should consider allowing PrintDsign Manchester to install frosted window film to the windows of your business premises. here are just a few good reasons:
Privacy
Our frosted window films are opaque, so they cannot be seen though clearly. this is great for adding additional privacy to the windows in a certain room. At PrintDsign we also have the ability to cut the frosted window film (window etching) on our vinyl cutters, so we can shape the frosted window film to suit a specific design and also just add it to sections of the window. so the frosted window film can be used on the lower half of the windows to add privacy but the top of the windows can be left clear, so visibility is still possible.
Although visibility through the frosted window film isn’t possible it still allows significant light to transfer through, so unlike what happens if you add a window graphic to the windows, the light from outside of the windows can still makes its way through the window. this means you get that extra layer of privacy but without compromising natural light.
Using our frosted window film to add privacy to your office windows can great boost security as valuable items will no longer be visible from outside of your office, making them much less likely to be taken.

Although available in gold, red, green and blue our window frosting film is most often used in its silver form. our silver window etching gives a classy look when added to office spaces and restaurant windows. it is clean and modern and helps to raise up the overall look of an office once it has been installed.

Our premium roll out banners have nicer looking cassette systems that have internal weights (so don’t require fold out feet). these premium roll out cassette fit in much nicer at events where aesthetics are important.
an additional bonus of our premium rollout banners is that some of them are available wth a double sided print. this means that we can add 2 separate banners to the roll out banner stand system (front and back) these 2 banner can then be displayed simultaneously or separately. so for example f you have 2 big events in a month we can install a banner for each event and you can simple display one banner at a time for each event. saving money on additional banner stands.
